831 Adoption Special keeps Brynne Smith's legacy alive, continues to encourage adoption

Foothills Animal Rescue will bring that meaning to life through its annual 831 Adoption Special, offering $0 adoptions Saturday through Monday, Aug. 29-31, at the Brynne Smith Memorial Campus, 10197 E. Bell Road in Scottsdale. The campus will remain open for extended hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all three days, giving visitors more time to meet available dogs and cats and find a forever companion.

Taking Action

They deserve to run. What we are allowing to happen to 'man's best friend' is not right, at all.

Help create a culture where dogs are valued as living beings, not products or accessories. Not everyone should have the privilege of owning a dog and they most certainly shouldn't go to just anyone for a $0 adoption fee.

The Rescue Dog Project is a passion project and I have been working on it for about 3-4 years (in between two jobs). I love dogs, I want them all to run free. I see how my rescue (Cheeto) runs and reminded of the dogs who sit for 23.5 hours a day in small cage, like she once did. Animals deserve to move around and run.
